Click on the photo for more pictures of this kit. This unique kit comes with 25 numbered tags that are hung on the brass rings attached to the design. On the 1st of December tag number 1 is removed, on the 2nd tag number 2 etc. This means that more and more of the design become visible until on the 25th of December the final (large) tag is removed and all of the kit is revealed.
This kit contains the fabric, thread, brass rings and pre-printed, numbered cardboard tags used to complete this wonderful and practical cross stitch advent calendar.
With the exception of the large tag for the 25th the other 24 tags can be hung on any ring, this means that each year you use the advent calendar will be different.
The only thing not included in the kit is a piece of board to mount the finished work on. We suggest that you could use thin wood or thick card for this, we used a piece of artist mounting board as it is ideal and easily available from any artist supplies or craft shop or any picture framers.
Everything else you need to complete the kit is supplied, the contents include:
- Cross stitch chart on A3 paper
- Separate back stitch chart on A3 paper
- Colour picture of design
- Pre-sorted DMC stranded cotton on a printed thread organiser
- 50cm x 33cm piece of antique white 14 count Swiss Aida fabric
- Tap 24 cross stitch needle
- 25 brass 0.5" rings to hang your numbered tags on
- 1 brass 0.75" ring to sew on the back so you can hang up your completed kit
- Sheet of 25 pre-printed, numbered tags on cream card
